"Bagy-bossan Watanym!" creative contest announced
The "Young Naturalist" public organization, in collaboration with the editorial board of the "Watan" newspaper, has announced a creative contest titled "Bagy-bossan Watanym!" (My Homeland is a Flowering Garden!). The event is dedicated to the 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan's Independence.
Goal of the Contest The contest aims to utilize the press to highlight activities focused on preserving the natural beauty of our beloved Motherland, the rational use of its resources, and contributing to environmental well-being. It also seeks to foster an ecological culture among the younger generation.
Participation and Requirements Official members of the "Young Naturalist" public organization are invited to participate. The contest accepts original, previously unpublished works that have not been submitted to other competitions. Entries may include:
• Articles;
• Poems;
• Prose;
• Creative works in various other genres.
Thematic Focus:
• National initiatives for "green" development;
• Peace and the well-being of nature in independent Turkmenistan;
• Individual contributions to environmental protection;
• Achievements of 2026, held under the motto: "Independent, permanently Neutral Turkmenistan — homeland of purposeful heavenly horses"
