Cooperation in the gas industry is one of the priority areas on the agenda of international meetings of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

The successful implementation of the tasks, set by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov before the country’s oil and gas complex to increase oil and gas production, and the prospecting of new fields for these purposes is facilitated by the activities of specialists from the Natural Gas Research Institute of the Türkmengaz State Concern.

Under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Turkmenistan is taking the forefront in solving the global challenges of our time, actively promoting large-scale initiatives and, most importantly, proposing ways to solve them.

The largest single-product gas condensate field in Central Asia, Shatlyk (Eastern and Western), was put into operation in 1973.

The Ojak gas field was the cause for the formation in 1966 of the center of Turkmen gas workers – the town of Gazojak near the village of Shiharyk.

The gas industry, being one of the largest sectors of the country’s national economy, plays an important role in ensuring the prosperous life of the Turkmen people and achieving the prosperity of our Motherland.

Gas workers of the gas supply organizations of Saparmurat Turkmenbashi, Ruhubelent, Koneurgench, Shabat and Gerogly etraps of the Daşoguzgazüpjünçilik Directorate are work in an organized manner to provide liquefied gas to residents of settlements, located in remote areas, and livestock breeders being in pastures in the Karakum sands, on the bank of Lake Sarykamysh and in the Botendag area.

The Şerepli, Kelleli and Ýylan fields, located on the territory of the Mary velayat, are promising underground deposits, within the framework of the development of which, based on the plan of the Türkmengaz State Concern, a modern powerful facility for the primary purification of natural gas is being built at the Kelleli field.

In order to implement tasks, set by the head of state, the teachers of the Advance Training Departments at the higher and secondary vocational educational institutions, training highly qualified specialists with higher and secondary vocational education for the oil and gas sector of the country, organize their training and practical activity in accordance with the requirements of the period of the Revival of the New Era of the Powerful State.

During a working trip to the Balkan velayat, which took place on January 13, 2022, the Hero-Arkadag acquainted himself with the projects of the Türkmengeologiýa State Corporation, containing information on the rich deposits of hydrocarbon resources of the western region in the Uzynada field, where in recent years work has been intensively carried out to develop underground storage facilities, and instructed to continue prospecting and exploration work in the coastal zone of the Caspian Sea.

Thanks to the large-scale activities of the Hero-Arkadag and the President of Turkmenistan, our independent neutral Motherland has turned into a country of prosperity and wellbeing. In this regard, the ongoing work on the gasification of populated areas deserves special mention. The activity of gas workers is widespread in the Lebap velayat, where the number of households using natural gas is growing with every passing year.

Gas workers of the Daşoguzgazakdyryş Directorate of the Türkmengazakdyryş Association of the Türkmengaz State Concern are carrying out efficient work to supply Turkmen gas to the world markets along the Döwletabat–Derýalyk route and to qualitatively supply the population of the northern velayat of the country with “blue fuel”.

At the beginning of each year, the results of the past year are summed up, production indicators are assessed, additional opportunities for further development are identified, and important tasks for the future are identified. At the Lebapgazçykaryş Directorate of the Türkmengaz State Concern, the main goal is to consolidate past year’s results and to achieve new heights of development.

The united team of the Dashoguz hydrogeological expedition of the Türkmengeologiýa State Corporation successfully completed the year “Happy Youth with Arkadag Serdar” and with great enthusiasm began to solve the tasks of the coming 2024.
