The Ambassador of the Republic of Korea discusses the implementation of joint projects with the management of the TCOR

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Turkmenistan Lee Won-jae paid a working visit to the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries, according to the TCOR website.

During the visit, the diplomat held talks with the Director of the Complex Dovran Chishiyev, reviewed the production facilities in detail and met with representatives of Korean companies working at the facility.

During the discussions, the parties reviewed the current state of cooperation between the two countries in the oil refining industry and the activities of Korean companies in Turkmenistan.

The Ambassador thanked the TCOR management for their assistance in developing cooperation and expressed hope for continued support for the effective implementation of ongoing projects. The diplomat expressed confidence that the participation of Korean companies in the modernization and maintenance of the TCOR will expand.

During the visit, the Ambassador held a separate meeting with representatives of Koryo Shipbuilding Industry Technology (KSIT) and Yuhan Tech. The progress of planned work and the companies’ current activities were discussed.

It was emphasized that the Embassy of the Republic of Korea will continue to provide comprehensive assistance to effectively implement joint projects and to further strengthen the position of Korean businesses in Turkmenistan.
