Under the wise leadership and support of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, large-scale reforms to modernize and digitalize the country's oil and gas sector are being successfully implemented. As part of these efforts, representatives from the State concerns «Türkmennebit» and «Türkmengaz» attended the international exhibition «HUAWEI CONNECT 2026» held in Shanghai on September 17 during their working visit to the People's Republic of China.

At the international exhibition, Turkmen specialists closely explored state-of-the-art capabilities in artificial intelligence, cloud computing, digital twins, 3D modeling, smart wells, and digital control systems for production facilities. Representatives from leading global companies delivered presentations on effective practices and new innovative solutions for applying digital technologies in the oil and gas industry.

Additionally, experts from major Chinese companies such as «Huawei», «CNPC» and «Sinopec» provided detailed information on the role of artificial intelligence, high-performance computing systems, and cloud technologies in boosting production efficiency. During the exhibition, productive exchanges of views were also held on information and cybersecurity, next-generation computer systems, modern communication technologies, and future prospects for developing the digital economy.
