At the beginning of each year, the results of the past year are summed up, production indicators are assessed, additional opportunities for further development are identified, and important tasks for the future are identified. At the Lebapgazçykaryş Directorate of the Türkmengaz State Concern, the main goal is to consolidate past year’s results and to achieve new heights of development.

“In the year ‘Happy Youth with Arkadag Serdar’, the Directorate’s plan for natural gas production was completed by 110.5 percent. Along with the main products, the annual plan for the production of gas condensate was also successfully completed,” the head of the Central Production and Dispatch Service of the Directorate Berdy Berdymetov proudly reports.

According to our interlocutor, last year the Directorate produced more than 10.9 billion cubic meters of natural gas. This is 1 billion cubic meters more than planned. Gas condensate production amounted to more than 39.1 thousand tons. It should be noted that this raw material is processed at the Seydi oil refinery, where valuable products are made from it.

Work in all departments of the Directorate is focused on achieving high final results. Repairmen engaged in underground and major repairs of wells are also actively involved in such work. Over the past year, they successfully repaired and put into operation 30 wells. Most of the work was carried out at the Malaý, Bowrüdeşik, Naýip and other fields. As a result, the production of “blue fuel” was slightly increased.

The President of Turkmenistan pays close attention to strengthening the production and technical base of the oil and gas industry. Such support plays an important role in the development of activities of producers of valuable natural raw materials. The launching of a powerful gas compressor station at the Malaý gas field made it possible to significantly increase production. In the past year, more than 6.4 billion cubic meters of natural gas were transported through the Malaý-Bagtyýarlyk gas pipeline. This indicates that the corresponding plan has been completed by 158 percent. A certain part of the production is exported to China, and the majority goes directly to local consumers. Such events become more organized in the cold winter season, during the period of increased fuel consumption.

“In the new year, our team have important tasks to solve. Gas workers strive to make a worthy contribution to the development of our country and to increase the rate of production of hydrocarbon resources. With hard work and diligent efforts, we will honorably justify the high trust put in us by the National Leader of the Turkmen people Hero-Arkadag and Head of State Arkadagly Serdar,” the chairman of the trade union organization of the Directorate Serdar Kurbankuliyev says with confidence.

Indeed, the employees of the Directorate face important tasks. This year, proclaimed “The Ocean of Wisdom Magtymguly Pyragy”, it is planned to produce more than 10.3 billion cubic meters of natural gas. There are all conditions to achieve this goal. We are confident that natural resource miners, as a united team, will mark the current year with tremendous labor successes.
