The delegation of Turkmenistan took part in the ministerial conference in the “Central Asia – Italy” format
A ministerial conference in the “Central Asia – Italy” format was held in Rome on May 29. The event was attended by heads of foreign policy departments of Central Asian countries, Italy, as well as representatives of the European Union. The delegation of Turkmenistan was headed by Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov, reports the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of our country.
The heads of foreign policy departments discussed the state and prospects of interaction in the foreign policy arena, in particular, in matters of maintaining and strengthening regional and global stability.
The forum also included three thematic sessions: “Energy Transition and Global Challenges”, “Connectivity” and “Higher Education and Knowledge Networks”.
The parties agreed to interact on a systematic basis within the framework of the “Central Asia – Italy” format. In this context, they agreed to develop a medium-term action plan.
Scientific and practical field trip organized for young naturalists
On the occasion of World Environment Day, the Secretariat of the National Commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO, in partnership with the "Young Naturalist" public organization, launched a joint environmental campaign titled "Cooperation for a Green Future."
