Way to the young

This year, held in Turkmenistan under the motto “The Fount of Mind of Magtymguly Fragi,” the Week of Culture, dedicated to the Day of Workers of Culture and Art, as well as the poetry of Magtymguly Fragi, was held in the city of Arkadag, which has no equal in the region. The large-scale creative forum, the annual holding of which has become a noble tradition, was filled with bright events that demonstrated the enormous potential of national culture and the professional growth of workers in the relevant field.
As part of the forum, the National Music and Drama Theater named after Magtymguly hosted an award ceremony for the winners of the competition “The Fount of Mind of Magtymguly Fragi”, announced in the year of the widely celebrated 300th anniversary of the birth of the great Turkmen classic among creative youth as part of the competition for the President of Turkmenistan Prize “Türkmeniň Altyn asyry”. As a result of the creative competition, particularly talented representatives of the art and literature-loving younger generation were identified.
The laureate of the competition, 2nd year student of the Faculty of Chemical Technology and Ecology of the Yagshygeldi Kakaev International University of Oil and Gas, Davud Dovranov, shared his impressions:
— Achieving goals stimulates a person to new successes and endeavors. Time passes, but happy, joyful moments remain in our memory for a long time. I am immensely glad that I was among the winners of the “Treasury of the Mind of Magtymguly Fragi” competition announced by the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan. I am grateful that my poems dedicated to the great poet Fragi were adequately appreciated by the competition jury. We are particularly proud of the fact that this competition was established in the year of celebrating the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly, which symbolizes the reverent attitude of our people to the work of the great poet-philosopher and the art of words.
They say there is no limit to creativity. A creative person is always in search of something new and beautiful. And we, students, are given a wide opportunity to comprehensively develop our talents, discover new horizons for ourselves and improve our knowledge. I feel proud of my country and express my sincere gratitude to Hero Arkadag and respected President Serdar Berdimuhamedov for the care and support of the younger generation, I wish you good health, long life and success in all good endeavors!
