In this context, comprehensive reforms initiated by Hero Arkadag and successfully continued by the esteemed President are being implemented in Turkmenistan, designed to promote the activation of the physical culture and health movement and the training of high-class athletes, a great contribution is being made to the popularization of the principles of the international Olympic movement.

In recent years, the prestige of Turkmen sports in the world arena has been growing. Various sports competitions are regularly held on the basis of state organizations and universities. Factors such as the availability of well-equipped sports complexes and high training potential play a decisive role in the rapid development of national sports.

As part of the festive events, a chess competition was held among the employees of the "Gyzylarbatetrapgas" gas facility organization of the "Balkangazupjunchilik" department on the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence.

As a result, the first place was awarded to Batyr Mammedov, a specialist in the external and underground gas pipeline maintenance department of the "Gyzylarbatetrapgas" gas facility organization of the "Balkangazupjunchilik" department. The second place was taken by Lachin Saparova, a specialist in the gas metering department, and the third place was awarded to Yazbibi Mollaeva, an inspector in the gas metering department.

The winners of the competition and the participants who showed particular activity were awarded memorable gifts and certificates of honor from the primary trade union organization of the "Balkangazupjunchilik" department.
