The results of the fuel and gas complex activities for January-February 2025 were summed up at the industry meeting

At the reporting meeting held on March 9 in the Central Building of the Oil and Gas Complex of Turkmenistan, the results of the industry enterprises’ work for the first two months of the current year - the International Year of Peace and Trust - were summed up. The participants of the meeting discussed the tasks set by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov for the country’s oil and gas complex at the digital meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held on March 7.

Opening the reporting meeting, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Batyr Amanov noted that through the efforts of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the state provides regular support in improving and consistently developing the oil and gas industry, modernizing its material and technical base. The Vice-Chairman also emphasized the need for an effective solution to the tasks set for the domestic fuel and gas complex. During the meeting, the State Minister of Turkmenistan - Chairman of the State Concern "Turkmengas" Maksat Babayev, Chairman of the State Concern "Turkmennebit" Guvanch Agajanov, Chairman of the State Corporation "Turkmengeology" Gurbangeldy Garlyev, as well as the heads of associations, departments, organizations and enterprises of the complex presented a report on the work done over the past period of the current year.

The speeches included information on the production of oil, gas condensate and liquefied gas in the country, the development of the dynamics of work at the Galkynysh field, the need to control the construction of TAPI, ensuring the smooth operation of production facilities in accordance with weather conditions, the search for and development of new deposits, the development of cooperation with leading foreign companies in the implementation of large projects, accelerating the pace of construction work, as well as other relevant areas.

Vice-Chairman Batyr Amanov noted the importance of constant monitoring of major projects implemented in the country's oil and gas sector, expanding the range of implementation of the digital system and innovative technologies in the industry, timely implementation of production plans, studying scientific innovations in the system, as well as consistent improvement of the skills of specialists on the ground. In this regard, specific tasks facing the State Corporation "Turkmengas", "Turkmennebit" and the State Corporation "Turkmengeology" were identified.

Vice-Chairman Batyr Amanov wished the employees of the complex success in effectively solving the tasks set by the head of state Serdar Berdimuhamedov for the development of the oil and gas industry.

The reporting meeting was also attended by Advisor to the President of Turkmenistan on Oil and Gas Issues Ashyrguly Begliyev.
