Young Robotics Specialists of Turkmenistan Return from Dubai with 12 Medals
The "IWISE Global Final 2026" international competition, held from February 14 to 16, 2026, in Dubai, UAE, concluded with a major victory for Turkmen schoolchildren. In this prestigious event, which brought together over 400 talented youths from around the globe, our national teams secured a total of 12 medals: 2 gold, 6 silver, and 4 bronze.
The highest award of the competition—the Gold Medal—was won by:
• Selim Begmyradow (Ashgabat, Secondary School No. 7);
• Abdyljelil Patyşagulyýew (Ashgabat, Specialized Secondary School No. 97).
For their outstanding performance in the "Line Follower" category, these talented students were not only awarded gold medals but were also named the "BEST TEAM" of the entire competition and received a special trophy.
Furthermore, several other students demonstrated exceptional skills in their respective categories:
• Silver Medals (6): Abdullah Annaýew ("Line Follower"), Muhammedkasym Annaýew ("Mini Sumo"), Saranur Annaýewa, Polat Saparow, Bilalkerem Berdiýew, and Aýsenem Akmyradowa.
• Bronze Medals (4): Ebubekir Berdiýew ("Line Follower"), Muhammedulemin Annaýew ("Maze/Labyrinth"), Rahman Garrygulow, and Gurbanmuhammet Magtymgulyýew.
Muhammedulemin Annaýew, a student of Specialized Secondary School No. 6 in Ashgabat, was also honored with a Special Jury Prize.
The successful participants—members of the robotics club at the 1st Specialized Education and Upbringing Complex of Arkadag City and the "Kämil bilim" education center—were led by experienced teachers Myrat Sähetgulyýew and Halil Kowusow.
"This victory is clear evidence of the vast potential our young generation holds in the world of technology. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to our National Leader, Hero Arkadag, and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for the excellent conditions and opportunities provided," said Myrat Sähetgulyýew, a teacher at the 1st Specialized Education and Upbringing Complex of Arkadag City.

Representing Turkmenistan, the "Oguzrobot" team demonstrated exceptional preparation and earned the right to participate in the upcoming competition to be held in the People's Republic of China.
